november thoughts...:-)

i've decided to do a post about my thoughts about what i'm learning in school, what i'm learning in bible, what i think that i need to work on, etc...i hope that i don't bore you out of your heads...:-)

i'll start with school. some days are better than others...let's just say that!!! for those of you who don't know, i am in the 6th grade. my 2 main subjects are math and history. *most* of the time my school goes fairly smoothly, but i also have really hard days. i've learned that whatever my attitude is in the morning, that is how the rest of my day will go. sometimes i try to have a good attitude, though, and my day is still goes bad...oh well, enough about school, i don't think that anyone is really interested in how my school goes bad some days. :-)

moving on...

now, i'll talk about what i'm learning in bible. right now i'm reading in the book of john. i hope that this does not come across the wrong way and ya'll think that i'm trying to be sooooo good, by telling you about how i'm such a good little girl and read my bible. so please don't think anything bad of me. :-) anyways, right now i'm reading about the crucifixion of CHRIST. i noticed last night that it seems like everywhere i go they're reading about the crucifixion. we read about it in sunday school, i'm reading about it by myself, and if i remember right we read it in family devotions, etc. :-) it's even funnier because we're getting close to the BIRTH of JESUS and not HIS death!!!
sometimes, as i read the bible, it is so amazing to me when i really think about what he went through for ME!!! when i was little and i learned the story of JESUS and how HE died for me, i don't think i really understood what it really meant. i mean, i probably appreciated it, and i'm not saying that i am so much wiser now, but if you know what i mean it just didn't really click. i've always known the story of JESUS, but when i read the bible now, it seems like there is SO much more in it than what i had always thought. and not only about the crucifixion, but about HIS whole life!!! i could type forever about this, but i'm going to move on to what i need to work on. :-)

i know that i have tons of stuff to work on, and i keep praying that GOD will show me more of what to work on, continually. another thing about when i read about JESUS life is that when it tells us to try to be more like HIM after it tells us all that HE did, it seems impossible to me because of how perfect HE is!!! and sometimes i feel like i am SO blessed to have such an awesome example and then i look back and see how instructive the bible is when it tells me of everything that HE did and how detailed. so basically, i need to work on being more like CHRIST!!!

i'm runnin' out of time and i need to go get ready to shop!!!

i bet that someday, i'm gonna look back on this post and laugh about how dumb and immature it is like i have on my first few post's, so feel free to laugh!!! ;-) hehehehe!!!

thanks for viewing this post!!!
