Old shirt - new dress.

It was two days before Easter. I was skimming over our closet to see what I should wear to the Easter program at church. I really wanted to wear something new, but felt like rather than shopping, I should try to take an old shirt that we never wear and try to transform it into something new! :)

So, I came across this shirt. My sisters and I never wore it and it just sat in our closet, but we never got up enough guts to just toss it.

I decided to look through our scrap material boxes and see if I could find anything that matched it. I did and a few stitches later, I came up with something that can be worn as a skirt...

or it can be worn as a dress...

I finished it the night before Easter and wore it to church. Who knew that an old shirt could be turned into a new dress? :)
