Sweet Potato Pie and Green Bean Casserole are baking in the oven. I've just finished licking out the bowls for both of them. Yum! :)
I just read that 925 million people went hungry in 2010. I wonder how many people are going hungry today. And not just today, but have not eaten for a few days. Every 2 seconds, one person needlessly dies from starvation. There have been 42,708,963 deaths from lack of food already this year. The number continues to grow.
So today, as you sit down with family and friends, eating your turkey and potatoes, remember that number. 42,708,963. Say a prayer for those who have no food. Think of how much God has given you and how He's equipped you to bless others.
